Experience: The real estate service closest to my heart is “Finding Homes for People and Pets.” I have helped keep people in their homes by avoiding foreclosure, and I have assisted folks in buying homes suitable for them and their animals. Here’s a picture of my boxer, Caputo. I invite you to visit the following links to my favorite web sites for pets: Tara’s Place - A doggie daycare and boarding facility in Nicholson, GA. Humane Society of Jackson County - Offering low-cost spaying and neutering, foster and adoption services.

We have a “gem” in the Northeast Region of Georgia. It is a spectacular area to live, work and play. The Real Estate business allows me the opportunity to share it with those wishing to relocate to our area. In turn, I love the challenge of marketing homes for those that must relocate to other areas. I strive to do my best so that you will have a great experience in what should be an exciting time whether purchasing a new home or selling one. Come let me show you the hidden treasures of Northeast Georgia.
I live in Homer (Banks County), and here are some reasons why: Top Ten Reasons to call Homer “Home”
1. Homer, located in Banks County of Northeast Georgia, is famous for being the home of the “World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt.” This is just one of the many indications of our family-friendly community.
2. Georgia is located south of the “snow line” and north of the “gnat line.” It just doesn’t get any better than that!
3. If you like to golf and garden and go places all year round, northeast Georgia is just the ticket. You’ll likely never lose a golf ball in the snow, something grows all the time, and icy roads almost never cause traffic jams.
4. You’ll leave the bone-chilling, freezing, icy conditions of a northern winter for near balmy conditions of a moderate clime.
5. Rush hour traffic is 2 minutes long. This occurs in the morning when police are directing traffic for school buses, which are bringing students to Banks County schools, some of the highest rated in the area. We’re rightfully proud of our school system’s academic records and Leopards sports teams.
6. You’ll be able to see the stars at night. No glaring city lights blotting out the sky—you’ll be able to recall the wonder you remember as a child lying on your back and staring at the majesty of diamonds scattered across black velvet above your head.
7. If you’re worried about terrorist attacks, don’t be. I mean, come on, who’s going to blow up Homer, Georgia?
8. Your cultural horizons will be expanded. Even northern transplants have come to appreciate NASCAR racing, university and high school athletics over pricey big league tickets, and shopping at Tanger Outlet Malls at Banks Crossing. People drive from hours away to visit Tanger Outlets, but if you can’t find what you want there, the Mall of Georgia is about 40 minutes away and downtown Atlanta is just beyond that.
9. People are friendly and the food is good. Stop by the Amish store for really good and really fresh food (without the organic prices), be treated at the local café’s with good conversation and sweet tea, and discover what a treat grits can be!
10. Residents of Homer enjoy the amenities of small town life with friendly neighbors and clean air, while still being close enough to drive to Athens for educational opportunities at the University of Georgia and to Atlanta for all that a huge metropolitan city offers.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, History and Latin, Summa cum laude, University of Georgia 1998

Education: 1961 Graduate of Commerce High School, Commerce, GA 1964 Graduate of Southern Polytechnic University, Marietta, GA
Experience: After forty plus years of sales, marketing and sales management of flow control equipment such as pumps, valves, strainers, filters, etc. I decided to get “off the road” and get involved in Real Estate—which is something I have wanted to do for years. I am very pleased that I was able to become a member of the Knoblock & Associates real estate firm. I bring to K&A my experience developed from years that I spent calling on industrial plants and distribution houses in seven states and the Caribbean. My interest in building construction and landscaping adds to my ability to help buyers and sellers make the best real estate choices for their needs.
General: Getting my license was a long time desire. Now, my desire is to help you find that that property you’re seeking or sell that property you’re looking to move. Give me a call! Hobbies include fishing, gardening and anything that blooms.
